Q. The book I want is listed in Reference. Does that mean I can't check it out?

Reference books cannot be checked out. Our reference collection contains a wide variety of titles, including encyclopedias, medical dictionaries, and more, that are used frequently by students. To continue providing constant access to this information, reference items must remain in the library while you use them. 

We also have online reference materials through the database Credo Reference. If you need additional access to a reference title, please check there or ask a librarian for other options.
