Scholarly articles refer to those that are written by experts in the field, usually at a research university.  These articles serve as reports on the methods and findings of their studies.  They are often more than 5 pages long, are published in professional journals, include data and references, and have been reviewed by other experts prior to publication.  They can be found in our databases, such as Academic Search Complete, often in full text.
