If you get the message upon login that 'Your account is temporarily locked to prevent unauthorized use,' please try the following:

  1. If you think you know your password and have a few minutes, wait a bit and try logging in again.
  2. If you do not know your password or need quicker access to your account, choose the 'Forgot my password' link.Account temporarily locked
  3. Proceed to enter your Madison College email address and complete the captcha
  4. If you have previously registered a personal email method or another method of verification, you'll see two options. Choose the first option to reset a forgotten password or the second to unlock your account, if you're confident you know the password.reset or unlock
  5. Proceed to verify your account through personal email or another method you have registered for password reset.
  6. Depending on which option you chose, your account will either be unlocked or you will be prompted to set a new password.
