Q. Why am I being charged to add the Authenticator app to my device?

Please make sure that you are selecting the app called Microsoft Authenticator in the Google Play or Apple App Store. It is an app published by the Microsoft Corporation. This is a free app to use.

While you are able to install and use other apps to authenticate, be aware that copycat apps exist and may charge a fee. We suggest using the Microsoft Authenticator app.
