There are a couple places to check for information:

  • Student Email
    • This is the official means of communication with your instructors. Some instructors send information prior to the start of class, so be sure you are checking your email regularly
    • Consider adding the Outlook mobile app to stay connected with your schoolwork on the go
  • Blackboard
    • By default, courses are made available to students 2 days prior to the class start date. Your instructor may adjust this, however, to make courses available sooner or later in Blackboard
    • Once the course is available, take some time to read the announcements, click through the links in the course, and read the syllabus to familiarize yourself with layout of the course and expectations
    • For Online Live courses, your instructor may have a link within Blackboard to join the live portion of the course. This may take place in Webex, Teams, or Class. See our FAQ for more information on joining a Blackboard Collaborate/Class session

If you are having trouble finding the information you need to join your course, your instructor will be the best first point of contact. Look up their contact information in the Blackboard course or in the employee directory
