Q. I lost my phone or it was stolen. How do I disconnect my old phone from MFA?

If you set up a method that you can still access, go to https://aka.ms/proofup and enter your Madison College email address. You will be automatically routed to the Madison College login page. Enter your Madison College email and password and acknowledge the MFA notification on your new device. From there, delete methods tied to your lost or stolen device and add new methods that you can access.

If you can no longer access any of the methods you set up, contact us at 608.243.4444 during library open hours to assist with disabling methods tied to your lost or stolen device and to assist with registering a new device for MFA.
