Multi-Factor Authentication is required of all active students, faculty and staff. MFA requires something you know (your password) AND something you have (mobile device, tablet, phone). In addition to logging in with your password, you will need to acknowledge a notification or phone call/text. This helps to protect your account as well as the College’s systems.

Madison College, like many other institutions, is a target of cyberattacks such as phishing incidents. The College is regularly attacked by bad actors attempting to compromise accounts and gain access to our systems. Across the United States, organizations such as municipalities, hospitals, government agencies, and institutions of higher education experience data breaches or become victims of ransomware incidents due to compromised accounts and systems.
