If a student purchased MyMathLab – possibly other ebooks as well, at least Pearson – from the Madison College Bookstore, they won’t receive an actual MyMathLab access code, but one for RedShelf.

Redshelf codes look like: TG5Q6UTZ43UN22FY

MyMathLab codes look like: ABACUS-CANAL-PRIDE-STONY-MOULD-LUCKY (see attached screenshot for example from MyMathLab site)

Redshelf codes are printed on the original bookstore receipt, with instructions for activating the code printed just above the code.  In the past I have seen the code highlighted or circled by bookstore staff.  After activating the code on Redshelf, the student either gets immediate access to MyMathLab, or gets a MyMathLab code to redeem on the MyMathLab site (can’t remember which)

Questions about Redshelf can be directed to the bookstore at https://madisoncollegebookstore.com/Contact
