Q. Can I add VMware Horizon Client to my computer or device?

VMware Horizon Client app can be added to most Windows, Mac, Linux, and ChromeOS operating systems, as well as Android, iOS, and Windows based mobile devices.

It's a pretty lightweight app that installs quickly. The app helps connect you to your virtual desktop with apps for your courses here at Madison College. 

It's important to have a reliable, fast internet connection with virtual desktops. Recommended: 3 Mbps DSL/Cable connection Preferred: 10+ Mbps DSL/Cable connection. 

You must have the proper permissions (admin access) to install apps on your device.

If you can't add the Client for some reason, you can use HTML access. 

When you are off-campus, you will also need to authenticate to connect to your virtual desktop.
