You can connect to the apps or software you need for your courses using virtual desktops here at MATC.

Virtual Desktop = a computer that exists in the cloud, which you access remotely. It works like a desktop or laptop computer except there is no physical hardware. Instead, the virtual desktop is made available “virtually” in Madison College’s datacenter; which you can access anytime, from almost any device, from anywhere with reliable Internet access.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) = The collection of servers used to run the Virtual Machines. Madison College uses a technology called VMware Horizon for our virtual desktops.
