Q. Can I return bookstore rental books to the library?

No. Rental textbooks must be returned to the bookstore directly, NOT the library. If rental books are returned to the library or the library drop boxes, the bookstore will have no way of knowing who returned it. If a book rental is not returned by the specified bookstore due date, that student will be charged the full retail price of the book.

Every campus now has black drop-off bins as another way to return rentals.

Rental Return Drop boxes have been placed outside of:
Truax (main building), Commercial Avenue, Goodman South, Fort Atkinson, Portage, Reedsburg and Watertown.  (click on campus link for location)

The drop boxes are black and are labeled "Textbook Rental Return." The drop boxes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The boxes will be emptied on a regular basis. Library materials (non-equipment) can also be placed in these boxes.
