Thank you for your question.  To get to our JSTOR database, go to our homepage at http://library.madisoncollege.edu/ and click on the 'Articles' tab.  Then click the first link that says Browse databases by A-Z list.  There will be a link on that page to JSTOR.  Or, simply follow this link http://libguides.madisoncollege.edu/FindArticles and click on JSTOR.

If you access our databases from off campus you will be prompted for a username and password.  This is the same username and password that you use to login to blackboard and computers on campus.

From the JSTOR screen you can type keywords related to your topic and sift through the articles it comes up with. You can also narrow on the advanced search screen by discipline (such as anthropology) or by periodical title. Just scroll down a little to do so and select the appropriate checkbox.  If you need more details feel free to call the Truax main desk at (608) 246-6640.
